Elizabeth Fryer was born in January 1766.[1] She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Van Woert Fryer.

Perhaps she was the Elizabeth Fryer who was confirmed at St. Peter's Episcopal church in September 1791.

In March 1797, she married a Peter Van Bergen at the Albany Dutch church By 1803, two children had been christened there.

Van Bergen was an Albany resident who was last referenced in the community record in 1810.[2]

Elizabeth Fryer Van Bergen died in December 1848 and was buried in the Dutch church plot. She was a month shy of her eighty-third birthday.
